about

Kurosounds is a sound collection where I was very enthusiast about exploring the inner and outer worlds that surround us through sounds.

Focusing mainly on vocal chanting and samples from nature, creating ambient loops, audio photographs given to the listener to explore his own imagination.
I was also interested to use instruments and their sonic potential to create landscapes of sounds.
By ‘potential’ I mean researching where the beauty of a sound hides, I was very excited by the hidden nature and the many possibilities a sound can have.

Keys on 'Deep dive', 'The exmoor beast' and 'Silent lullaby' where produced on bontempi and casio keyboards.
'The clockwork inside' and 'Waterfless town afternoon' where produced with samples of a german zither and mbira.
'Wild in the inner side' was the voice of a tibetan bowl.

It is "subtitled" Nomansland as a translation for the word"Kurosounds" and as it is also where I spend most of my time recording and getting inspired by nature and the haunting countryside of Devon.

I also was inspired by the ambiguous meaning of it.
This battle field where we all fight sometimes, maybe our human body, but also recalling a neutral feeling and a sense of unity.
